2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three main ways:

  • Information related to caregiving or your role (e.g., relationship to a person living with memory loss, preferences, scheduling).

  • Content you upload or create (e.g., text prompts, photos, audio, video and avatar/voice customization data).

  • Feedback, surveys, and support communications.

Please do not share more medical information than is necessary to use the Services. We do not intend the Services to be a medical records system.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data (e.g., pages viewed, clicks, features used, time on site).

  • Device and technical data (e.g., IP address, browser, operating system, device identifiers, approximate location such as city or region).

  • Cookies and similar technologies to remember settings, understand usage, and improve the Services.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information from service providers (e.g., analytics, hosting) and from third-party login or authentication providers if you choose to connect them.

3. How We Use Information

  • We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the Services.

  • Operate AI-based features, including generating responses, voices, and avatars from your inputs.

  • Communicate with you about the Services, including updates, security alerts, and support.

  • Conduct research, testing, and product development focused on people with memory loss, families, and care organizations.

  • Monitor and enhance safety, security, and abuse prevention.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent, our legitimate interests, the performance of a contract, or legal obligations as the legal bases for processing your personal data.

4. AI, Voice, and Media Content

When you provide audio, images, video, or similar media:

  • We process this content to deliver requested features (e.g., AI companion interactions, voice or avatar generation).

  • We store it and related metadata securely as needed to operate and improve the Services.

  • We may use de-identified or aggregated data for model evaluation, safety, and improvement, where allowed by law and our agreements.

If you are in a specific beta or research program, we may request additional consent describing how recordings and session data are used.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

  • Service providers and vendors who perform services on our behalf (e.g., hosting, analytics, communications, AI infrastructure), bound by contracts to protect your information.

  • Research or clinical partners only with appropriate agreements and your explicit consent where required.

  • Affiliates or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or financing, subject to appropriate protections.

  • Law enforcement, regulators, or others where we believe disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or security.

  • Others when you direct us or consent to sharing.

6. Data Retention

We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. We anonymize or securely delete data when it is no longer needed.

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal information.

  • Correct or update inaccurate information.

  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to certain exceptions.

  • Restrict or object to some processing.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Caregivers or authorized staff may provide limited information about individuals in their care. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child without proper consent, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative safeguards to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
